About

"Healing Begins with Connection"

I’m a Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years’ experience supporting children, young people, and adults across a range of settings.

Whether I’m working with a child who’s struggling to regulate their emotions, or an adult carrying the weight of unresolved trauma, my role is to listen deeply, respond with care, and tailor support to each person’s unique story.

With Children, Young People & Families

I want to give children and young people a voice — especially when they don’t have the words.

My work is grounded in evidence-based therapies, a trauma-informed lens, and deep compassion.

I combine:

    •    Neuroscience and nervous system awareness — understanding what’s really happening in the brain and body during stress or dysregulation

    •    Person-centred approaches — every child is unique; we meet them where they are

    •    Trauma-informed care — safety, trust, and empowerment are the foundation of healing

    •    Evidence-based interventions — grounded in research, delivered with empathy

Why?

Because behind every “challenging behaviour” is a story — often of unmet needs, stress, or trauma. When we focus only on stopping the behaviour, we miss the message.

This approach brings together what works: clinical insight, real-world compassion, and the neuroscience of connection. I work collaboratively with parents and carers to understand what behaviour is really communicating, support emotional regulation and safety, rebuild connection and confidence, and empower families

I believe in giving young people a voice in their care, and creating spaces where they feel seen, heard, and respected.

With Adults

I also offer therapy for adults experiencing:

    •    Trauma, PTSD, or complex trauma

    •    Anxiety, stress, or emotional regulation difficulties

    •    Feeling “stuck,” overwhelmed, or disconnected

    •    Parenting challenges or generational trauma

    •    Long term conditions

I am also trained in EMDR therapy (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps people reprocess distressing memories.

Our work together is:

    •    Collaborative — you are an active participant in your healing

    •    Respectful — your pace, your voice, your consent

    •    Integrative — using different evidence-based approaches

If you’re seeking compassionate, effective support — for yourself, your child, or your family — I’m here to walk alongside you with care, clarity, and evidence-based tools that make a difference.

When we connect deeply with our own feelings, we open the door to understanding our needs and experiences.
